Grace Period & Account Hold
Grace Period
A 7-day grace period is granted in the following cases:
- Downgrading from a paid plan to a free plan.
- A payment failure for a paid plan.
- A refund is processed while a paid plan is active.
Iconiq does not automatically delete your settings to protect your desktop environment and
workflow. During this 7-day period, you must manually organize your desktop to fit within the
free plan limits.
Account Hold
If the account continues to exceed the free plan limits after the grace period has ended, the account will be temporarily placed on hold to protect user settings.
Data Safety
Unless a separate request is made by the user, data will not be deleted and will be retained. Data retention will remain in effect until the account hold is released. For more details, please refer to the Account Hold Release section below.
Account Hold Release
After an account has been placed on hold, users may request a release through Contact Us.
When submitting a request, please clearly indicate one of the following options:
- Maintain the paid plan
- Switch to the free plan
Hold Release Criteria
If you request a hold release while maintaining a paid plan:
All settings will be fully restored to their state prior to the hold.
If you request a hold release after switching to the free plan:
All data will be reset before the account is restored.
By submitting a hold release request after switching to the free plan, you are deemed to have agreed to the automatic data reset.
Reset data will be retained separately for 3 days from the hold release date. If you upgrade to a paid plan within this period, you may request a restoration of data from before the reset through Contact Us.
